Greater Louisville Trianing Club's May 2005 Tracking Event

GLTC’s tracking test was a huge success. Thanks to everybody who supported our club. The weather was great, track layers had some stinky feet, we had some dogs pass, and plenty of good food and fellowship. Thanks to out judges, gimpy as they were, Ralph Sneve and Billie French. We had two dogs pass on the TD portion - Lucinda with her dachshund, Merry and April Moore, from Evansville, IN with her English Cocker. Ken Wallace laid both of the Tracks. Becky Manenti entered with her Lad, but failed. Julia Martin laid her track. Our president, John Fowler, found time in his busy schedule to observe this test. The VST portion was super, we had our first pass at this our fourth year of providing VST tests. Two tracks were run at Bernheim, a track at Bullitt County Conference Center, and a track at Bullitt Central High School in Shepherdsville. Thank you Terry McGauley for all your hard work in securing these sites. We had one pass at Bernheim, it was Jeanene Tessari from Lexington with her German shepherd. The dog earned his Champion Tracker degree. Also entered was Jeanne Ohmann with her Belgian Tervuren (shown by Terry McGauley), Karen Veleta with her Bloodhound, and Karen Highley from Manassas, VA with her Basset Hound. Thanks to our track layers Anita Roby, Tony Ginter, Teri Wade and Griff. Griff was so proud that the dog passed on his first VST track he laid. Thanks to all the GLTC members that donated coffee and food for the test. We could not have done it if we didn’t have the support of our members. Keep on tracking!
